Construction

• MAX Core Profile – Inspired by the Optik 4 model, the MAX Core offers a wide, squared butterfly stance with stiff thighs and an aggressive precurve. A softer, more flexible boot allows for tight plays at the post and quick pad rotation thanks to an 80° toe taper.
• Primo-Slide Boot Lining with Internal Lift – Positions the pad higher off the skate for faster ice contact and reduced binding between the boot and skate.
• Thin, No-Break Outer Roll – A signature of the Optik series, keeping the pad’s rigid shape while improving puck tracking in the crease.

Knee & Inner Edges

• Open Knee Cradle – Enhances pad rotation and butterfly mobility, with the option to strap behind the knee or use the removable knee wing.
• Double-Laced One-Piece Knee Block – A high-density block securely integrated into the pad for consistent landings, finished with durable Primo-Slide material.
• Primo-Slide Inner Edges – Highly durable cross-hatched surface for quick yet controlled slides and long-lasting performance.

Strapping

• 3-Point Adjustable Calf Wrap – Allows fine-tuning of pad rotation and responsiveness with adjustable top and bottom tension points.
• Outer-to-Inner Calf Plate Strapping – Plush outer calf panels tighten inward for stability while maintaining free calf rotation.
• Smart Boot Strap & Bungee Toe Ties – Standard elastic toe cords keep the pads secure while allowing skate mobility for better edge control and reduced lower-body strain. A Smart Strap boot strap is also included for those who prefer a traditional setup.
